I wouldn’t buy “Fearless”. See it for free somehow. It was made by and starred a guy who raped a child, and fled the country to escape justice. Where he still remains. He refers to the rape as a mere “Detail of his love life” or something like that.

I just got “Lost Boys” today. Now I can finally see it.

I think Bill Idol’s too much of an a**hole. Lestat’s not supposed to be that obnoxious.

Hmmm….I haven’t seen the Fearless Vamp Killers. Should probably check it out. Bram Stoker’s is simply so well done….I loved Gary Oldman after that movie.

I’ve seen the one with Bela Lugosi. Not bad. Nosefuratu is pretty haunting…

Mmmm. I see Julian Sands as more of a Marius type, not Lestat. Billy Idol has the attitude and the looks. Or he did when he was younger.

Also… ever see “Fearless Vampire Killers”? I think it was the first vampire anything that I ever saw, and it set the mold for me. I also love “Bram Stoker’s”.

Ever see the original Dracula’s? I recently watched those.

I expected Cruise to be pretty bad as Lestat. But I think he turned out pretty good. Not ideal, but pretty good.

Manuel: Are you reading just the first Twilight, or all 4? I read them all at once.

Yeah, I haven’t seen The Hamiltons or Wisdom of Crocks either, but the other 3 are great. I am about halfway through reading Twilight and I actually like it. It is keeping my interest. I thought Buffy was a riot!

The Hamiltons and the Wisdom of Crocks…are both indie films and pretty easy to miss. Tom Cruise did the best that he could, but wasn’t really the best choice. I would rather have seen Billy Idol, myself. lol

I totally agree with your reviews, except for The Hamiltons and The Wisdom of Crocks… but only because I have not seen those to know!

Tom Cruise is not a good Lestat choice! That was also a major complaint for me.

I bet I’ll like the two I missed. We seem to have similar tastes.
